Over The Hill

Tomorrow Sow's mom has to go back to Korat. So we took another little trip today. It seemed like a long ride, but we were only gone about 3 hours. We were going to have a picnic at the waterfall near the bottom of Doi Suthep, when she remembered a place she'd heard about but never been too. It's just a little further than the Night Safari, but it leads you around to the backside of the mountain, where there's a little gardens and resort.

The other side of that hill is where we live.

It was really nice ride. Parts of it reminded me of driving thru the hills in the Bay Area. And the mountain did a bang-up job of keeping any smog back. If we ever decide to buy any property here, I think that might be the place. Fairly rural, but only about 10km from central Chiang Mai.
