Happy 1st Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there in the world, but to one mother in particular. Thanks for taking such good care of our boy honey. He looks so happy and heathy, and... hey, wait a minute, is he even wearing pants there!? Alright, well happy 1st Mother's Day. I miss you and can't wait to see you again in a few weeks.

How fitting is it that we get word of our visa interview as a Mother's Day gift, and it'll be Father's Day right about the time we head stateside.

And In Further News...

Yesterday I got some good news. We received the program for Filmstock International Film Festival. We knew we'd been selected, but now we have the time of our screening. Not a bad slot. Sunday June 4th at 8:15pm, the opening weekend of the festival. I don't see where tickets are available, but I'm assuming most of you won't be making it to this one anyhow.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it either. I've got other pans that same week now. That's because this morning's 6:30am call from Sow revealed the date and time of our visa interview in Bangkok. Yep, we finally got the letter, and it's approaching fast! Just 3 & 1/2 weeks away. I've been guessing mid june like it's this far off thing, but now it seems so close.

Sow called back three times to tell me how excited she was and that she couldn't get to sleep. So much to do now. Time to run the gauntlet. But at least I get to run this pic again...

"F!@#$% yeah!!! I'm going to America!!!!"

7 Months!

Well, someone just got a little bit bigger today. Yep, it's a day with a 5 in it, that make it's Ray's 7th month out! Woo-hoo!

Here he's stylin' a nice little outfit our friends Scott, Donna, Madeline & Amelia got Ray for, well, just being Ray. Thanks, guys, I can't tell you how much Sow loved this outfit. It came just after Songkran. Sow kept referring to it as a Songkran shirt, since it's the kind of shirt everyone wears around that time. She hadn't been able to find one in his sive, so this was just perfect.
